Sasha Sommerfeldt obtained her B.S. degree in Psychology and a B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Minnesota. She worked in the Luciana Lab as an undergraduate student then as a paid junior scientist to collect and process the lab’s neuroimaging data. She is interested in relationships between the mind, brain and body, and the role each plays in emotion. Sasha will begin graduate school in the Fall of 2016 in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she has been employed as a researcher for the Center for Healthy Minds.
